ABOUT RHYTHM OF THE HORSE
Rhythm of the Horse was founded in 2021 by Justine Williams and Kyle Felton as a way to honor and celebrate the lives of Kyle's daughters Rashel and Mandy Felton.

ROTH originally supported several therapeutic riding programs in Northern Colorado. In 2024, the Board of Directors decided to change it to a direct service organization, providing Conductive Education, Sensory Integrative Therapy and Adaptive riding services to benefit individuals with a variety of diagnoses including Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Developmental Delay, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Autism and Learning or Language Disabilities.
ABOUT OUR THERAPIST/EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Justine Williams was born in England. When her friend had a stroke at the age of 11, the two girls became inseparable and that began Justine’s journey to working with people with special needs. After graduating high school, Justine headed to the Andras Peto Faculty of Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary to study Conductive Education, a multidisciplinary approach to working with individuals with neuromotor disorders such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, stroke and multiple sclerosis. In 1994 she graduated from both the Andras Peto Faculty in Budapest and Keele University in England with a degree in Conductive Education as well as a K-8 teaching certificate. Justine then began working at a residential school for children with profound physical disabilities in Nottingham, England and later managed a Conductive Education preschool in Leicester, England. Justine moved to Colorado in 2001 and soon began building a new Conductive Education program here.

Over the years, Justine has taken the foundation of Conductive Education and implemented new concepts that allowed her to expand her program and positively impact more lives in the community. She began volunteering at a local Therapeutic Riding Center. Struck by this amazing combination of horses and therapy, she pursued certification as a PATH Intl. Therapeutic Riding Instructor, a PATH Intl. Registered Therapist in Hippotherapy and a PATH Intl. Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. She has incorporated equine movement into her Conductive Education program ever since.
Justine then went on to complete the Sensory Integration Certification Program sponsored by USC/WPS. This is a post-graduate pathway to advanced competency in sensory integration theory and intervention, whereby Justine gained certification as a Sensory Integration Therapist. Having mainly worked with people with neuromotor disorders, this focused training enabled Justine to now utilize equine movement for individuals with neuro divergencies such as autism and sensory processing disorders.
In 2013 Justine moved her practice to its present location, on her farm in Fort Lupton. Here she lives with her two wonderful children and their many animals. She loves living in such a beautiful place and having the opportunity to raise her family in the country lifestyle.
